Youghal Cork

Rain or shine Youghal, Co. Cork, certainly has so much to keep you and the entire family amused.  It also serves as the ideal base to explore the wider East Cork and West Waterford region!  We have so much to do and see –  check out Festivals & Events tab.  If music is your thing, check out our upcoming gigs!

Food Food Food! Youghal’s foodie outlets offer the best in locally caught seafood.  However, family favourites such as cafés, pizzerias, traditional family friendly pubs serving food and fast food outlets are in abundance in this resort town. Don’t worry; we have options for the more formal occasions too!

On the Water: Our popular seaside resort has three stunning sandy beaches.  We have a variety of water activities available including angling and whale watching.  For a great day out for all the family why not book a cruise trip for all the family on board ‘The Maeve’ with Blackwater Cruises?

Leisure Activities: family entertainment such as Perks Entertainment Centre and Aura Leisure Centre  are ideal spots should the notorious Irish weather be less than perfect. There is a good selection of local golf courses in the area, including the 18 hole, 72 par Youghal Golf Club, and a real gem in Youghal Greyhound Track.

Youghal’s Heritage:  Youghal is a walled seaport town and one of the best preserved examples of a 13th century town in Europe. Take a guided tour, or maybe you prefer to do it yourself?   Download the free Youghal Travel App– Don’t worry, you can use it offline too (no need for wifi).
